Q: Why do I need telehealth?
A: A busy lifestyle can make it difficult and expensive to go to the doctor's office every time an illness occurs. With telehealth, you can be "seen" by a doctor through a simple phone call. Consults are affordable, fast, and convenient.
Employers can enhance their benefit offering at a low cost, giving employees additional options for their health care needs.
Q: Which plan am I in?
A: If you are a member of one of Nextep's Aetna large-group medical plans, you are automatically enrolled in Aetna's telehealth services and may get consultations for a copay.
Your employer may have elected to sponsor the Plus or Enhanced level of Teladoc to reduce your copays and offer additional services. Contact Nextep's benefits team to find which services are available to you.
Q: How do I enroll?
A: Telehealth features automatic enrollment; no need for forms.
If you are a member of one of Nextep's Aetna health plans, their Telehealth services are automatically available to you with no additional enrollment needed.
When your employer elects one of our sponsored Teladoc plan options, all active employees at your company are automatically part of the plan. Even if you work part-time. Even if you don't participate in any other benefit plans!
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Employer-sponsored plans: Telehealth is 100% employer-sponsored. If they have elected it, your employer generously covers the entire cost of the plan. Most visits ghave a $0 copay. Your costs will include any resulting prescription charges.
Via the Aetna health plan:This service is available at no cost with your Aetna health plan, but please be aware that copays for visits do apply. Copay costs are shown within the app when making an appointment. Please see below for standard copay amounts; Teladoc may honor a lower copay amount as dictated by your health plan.

A: For your convenience, Teladoc is available via desktop computer and mobile app!
