Our holiday savings account allows you to save a fixed amount each pay period from your paycheck. This money is paid back to you during November, just in time for holiday shopping.

You can pause or cancel deductions, or request an early distribution at any time. Even better: this benefit costs nothing to you or your employer!

 

How to Participate in Nextep's Holiday Savings Account


 

SIGN UP ONLINE
Log in to your Elevate by Nextep™ account on desktop or mobile app. Click or tap Pay, then scroll to the Holiday Savings card.

 

CHOOSE YOUR DEDUCTIONS
Decide how much money you'd like to save and calculate your deductions from each paycheck. Deductions will continue year-round until you tell us to stop.

 

HOLD, CHANGE, OR CANCEL ANY TIME
Log into your account to change your deduction amount (including to $0) at any time.

 

PAYOUTS ARE IN NOVEMBER
Your annual savings is paid to you in November. Once your funds are distributed, your account resets to $0 and deductions will automatically continue as is on your next pay period.

Q: How much does the Holiday Savings program cost?

A: Holiday Savings is FREE both to you and your employer.

The only time you will incur a cost is if you request an early payout distribution.

Q: How do I get an early payout?

A: Contact your Payroll Specialist at Nextep for an early payout of your saved funds. There is a $20 service fee. Funds will be included with your first pay period following 10 days after receiving the request. Your Holiday Savings account will be permanently closed upon early distribution. To begin deductions again, follow the instructions to open your account as before.

Q: What if my employment ends?

A: If your employment ends, Nextep will process your full account balance to be paid to you 10 business days after your termination date, assuming we receive your termination info timely. There is no service fee for early distribution due to termination of employment.

Q: How do I pause deductions?

A: Pausing deductions is easy! Simply log into your account and change your deduction amount to $0. Your savings payout will still occur on the regular payout period in November, but deductions won't begin again until you change the amount in your account.
